In 1983, Fernand, my father-in-law, vinified this cuvée for his son’s 18th birthday. It was given the name Bernard and me in 1995.

It is a round, easy-drinking wine, a blend of Carignan, Grenache planted in 1999 and a Syrah planted in the 1970s, destemmed,

vinified in cement vats, with vatting periods short enough to favour notes of small red fruits and roundness. Special feature: the 3 grape varieties are blended as soon as they are harvested.

It is a supple, tasty wine, easy to drink, to accompany Catalan charcuterie or grilled meats.

It is the wine to share between friends.
